RAWALPINDI- On Monday, an accountability court denied the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) plea to prolong the PTI chairman’s physical detention in the £190 million scam.
In Adiala Jail, Judge Muhammad Bashir heard the case. He denied the NAB’s request and placed the PTI head on judicial remand.
The NAB had asked five days’ physical remand of the PTI chairman on Wednesday, but Judge Bashir prolonged it for two days.
He issued a four-page written decision stating that the PTI chairman has been detained by the NAB for four days and that the agency has requested an additional five days of physical remand.
