RAWALPINDI (Politico.PK) – Aleema Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, stated that Pakistan sorely needs Imran Khan to return to power.
She remarked that the country’s position has deteriorated since terrorism has once again consumed it. When contacted by the press, she stated, “after a week we have been allowed to meet the PTI founder while adding Imran Khan has not received books which were sent for him in the last week.”
She said that Salman Akram Raja and Salman Safdar were assigned responsibility for all petitions, and that the PTI founder’s real attorneys were not permitted to meet with him today.
She stated that since the appointment of new judges to the IHC, Imran Khan’s appeal in the Al-Qadir Trust Case has been repeatedly postponed, which was the exact objective of these transfers and postings.
She went on to say that all of the cases against Imran Khan were ‘political’ and that those wanted in corruption cases turned out to be rulers.
