ISLAMABAD (Politico.PK) – Rana Sanaullah, Prime Minister’s Advisor for Political and Public Affairs, stated on Monday that political leaders must participate in talks to overcome concerns.
Speaking to a private news station, Sanaullah stated that the coalition government remained strong, with all affiliated parties solidly on its side.
He stated that the government has demonstrated its effectiveness in a short period of time and is committed to achieving even better achievements. “The Prime Minister and his team are focused on performance, national development, and providing relief to the public,” he told reporters.
In response to a query on the inclusion of new ministers in the cabinet, he stated that as long as the number of ministers remains within constitutionally permissible bounds, criticism is unnecessary.
“A single individual cannot effectively oversee many ministries. “Assigning responsibilities ensures dedicated and focused work,” he noted.
He went on to say that each ministry has objectives, and the Prime Minister reviews their performance on a regular basis.
In response to another inquiry, he decried political persecution, saying, “I am personally against political cases and consider them condemnable.” However, he chastised the opposition for earlier pursuing political charges and demonstrating no remorse.
“Political leaders must engage in discourse to overcome these concerns and chart a course ahead. We are still willing to sit with them, but their attitude is one of chaos and hostility,” he said.
