The renegade of the PTI has joined the PML-N.

WAZIRABAD — Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Akram Pahlwan joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday.

Mr Akram, speaking to the media, denounced the May 9 violence, calling the assaults on military sites “heinous.”

On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader and confidant Rana Sagheer Ahmed Guddu joined the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Tuesday.

Mr Guddu, who was accompanied by Vehari PPP President Mehmood Hayat Tochi Khan at a news conference, hailed the PPP leadership, stating, “The PPP has always done the politics of the common man, which inspired me to join the party.”

Mr Guddu said that he began his political career as an independent but now has a true political platform.

He went on to say that the PPP was a political party that has always considered the country and the nation.

“I am proud to be a member of the political party that made our country a nuclear power,” Mr Guddu continued.

Furthermore, Rana Nadeem Akhtar has expressed his intention to join the PPP.

In the meanwhile, Mr Khan said that Mr Guddu and his companions were welcome to join the PPP.

Recognising Mr Guddu’s political contributions, Mr Khan said, “Sagheer Guddu’s involvement will give the PPP more strength in Vehari.”
