In the Jinnah House assault case, the court releases Dr. Yasmin Rashid.

KARACHI – PTI Central Punjab President Dr. Yasmin Rashid was released on Saturday by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in the assault on Lahore’s Jinnah House, also known as Corps Commander House.

The court denied the request for Ms. Rashid to be physically detained in the case brought against her at Sarwar Road police station in its thorough ruling. If she had not been detained in connection with another matter, the court also mandated her release.

There was no evidence established against Ms. Rashid, according to the ruling.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid had already had her physical remand to prison for the May 9 vandalism case extended by two days by the ATC. Ms. Rashid was placed in custody on a judicial remand after the court denied the police’s plea for her physical remand.
