ISLAMABAD – Saturday, six more PTI leaders from Punjab left the party after rejecting the attacks on May 9.

Former provincial ministers Hashim Dogar, Rai Taimur Bhatti, Chaudhry Ikhlaq, and Samiullah, as well as former TEVTA head Mamoon Tarar and Sardar Mansab Ali Dogar, are among the leaders. They told the press about the change at a press meeting.

Hashim Dogar

Hashim Dogar said that May 9 would never be forgotten. He also said that the killings were wrong. “It would have been better if Mr. Khan had been bad-mouthing his opponents,” he said.

“Pakistan’s army is our red line,” he said.

He went on to say that they would make plans for the future and that they were also in touch with some other party members. “Whoever was involved in the May 9 attacks should be punished,” he said.

He went on to say that lawmakers should keep their politics to themselves and should remember the sacrifices that troops have made. “We should stay away from violence,” he said.

Mr. Dogar asked the law enforcement officials to let harmless people go free.

Rai Taimur Bhatti

Rai Taimur Bhatti said that there were times in politics when you had to choose between politics and the state. He also said that they lasted as long as the state did. “Attacks like the ones on May 9 will become common if they aren’t condemned,” he said.

“We have chosen the state over politics,” he said.

Mamoon Tarar

He started by saying that he wasn’t sad to leave the PTI. He then said that the attacks on May 9 were sad enough to make him cry. “A drop of soldier’s blood is more sacred than all politicians,” he said.

Mansab Ali Dogar

Mr. Mansab said he joined the PTI two months ago and that what happened on May 9 was no one’s business. “The attacks on May 9 shook us up,” he said.

He went on to say that the army had been protecting the country since 1948, and that he didn’t understand why politics and the army were fighting. “This fight hurts people and no one else,” he said.

Jahangir Tareen is going to start a new political party.

Earlier, in a big change, Jahangir Tareen, an unhappy PTI leader, resigned. suggested that they might start a new political party.

Sources with knowledge of the situation said that Mr. Tareen would become the party’s patron-in-chief, and a number of notable PTI rebel leaders, like Aleem Khan, would join him.

Reports say that Mr. Tareen and his like-minded friends started making plans, and that in Lahore, a party office was set up.

Murad Raas says that a group of “like-minded” people will meet.

Murad Raas, the leader of the PTI, said on Friday that he was leaving the party and putting together a group of like-minded people.

At a news conference with Pir Ahmad Khagga, Raja Yawar Kamal, and Chaudhry Adnan, he said that the killings on May 9 were very wrong and that they had never been part of the plan. He also said, “I don’t know how things got to this point.”

He went on to say that more PTI leaders would do the same in the coming days and that sometimes you have to take two steps back to move forward. “We joined the party to help make the country better,” he said.
