RAWALPINDI (): After waiting for two and a half hours outside the Adiala Jail gate, Aleema Khan, the sister of the PTI founder, expressed her annoyance at not being allowed to meet with her brother.
“There was no explanation for the rejection,” she said.
She was disappointed when she told the journalists outside the jail that they had come for the planned meeting but had been left waiting in vain.
“Just tell us who is calling the shots,” she said, criticizing the delays in her brother’s legal proceedings and urging for openness.
Aleema underlined that the former prime minister is unwavering and only depends on Allah.
She also disclosed that he had been denied phone contact with his kids and that books that were sent to him last week had not arrived.
