ISLAMABAD (Politico.PK) – Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former foreign minister, has declared that he has always pursued politics based on ideas and values, while resolutely rejecting the dictatorship.

During a National Assembly session presided over by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, members conveyed their condolences on the death of PPP MNA Nawab Yousaf Talpur and the martyrdom of former JUI-S MNA Hamid-ul-Haqqani.

Bilawal Bhutto spoke in the assembly, praising Nawab Yousaf Talpur as a genuine and intellectual leader who never wavered in his opposition to the military administration.

He emphasized Talpur’s accomplishments, particularly his efforts to raise awareness about Pakistan’s water situation.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and other parliamentarians also paid homage, recognizing Talpur’s persistent allegiance to the party and impressive parliamentary record.

The session was later delayed until 11: 30 a.m. the next day.
