ISLAMABAD – On Wednesday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued preliminary delimitation lists.
The ECP notified the public in a news statement released today that the preliminary delimitation report, together with Form 5 lists, had been placed on the commission’s website, along with maps of the initial delimitation.
The publishing of preliminary constituencies will last 30 days, from September 27 to October 26, at which time voters in the relevant constituency can make complaints (representations) to the preliminary constituencies.
The initial delimitation process was intended to complete on October 7, according to the original delimitation timeline announced by the ECP on August 17, with preliminary delimitation suggestions and the accompanying report slated to be released on October 9.
