LAHORE – On Sunday, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) announced the commencement of its election campaign.
PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and delivered to the PM the message of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif. The previous prime minister urged the party to expose the PTI’s election campaign performance.
Mr Sharif also asked the party to create a committee for the purpose of the election manifesto and to include in the party’s narrative the action plan of providing cheap loans and job possibilities.
PM Shehbaz and Ms Nawaz addressed the country’s political condition during the meeting.
The premier had requested the party’s provincial presidents to provide a report on electoral tickets in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Former Punjab chief ministers Hamza Shehbaz and Suleman Shehbaz were also in attendance.

On the other hand, PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif has said that his party would neither change seats or form agreements with any political party.
During a news conference, Mr Latif said, “A line must be drawn between a politician and a terrorist.” He said that forming little parties and divisions would not bring prosperity to the nation.
“The agreement can only be reached with the people. “We have made no other agreements,” he said.
In terms of the elections, he said that the PML-N would run under its own emblem. He went on to say that everyone else has the right to a fair playing field.
