KARACHI – Imran Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) filed a plea in an anti-terrorism court opposing search warrants for his Lahore home in Zaman Park.

In the complaint, the former prime minister has named the Lahore commissioner, deputy commissioner, and other parties as respondents, claiming that the police obtained the search order with improper motives.

Adding that he had permitted the parties to conduct the search in front of the media, he said that the petitioner had no involvement in the matter in which the search warrants were granted.

He urged with the court to deem the search warrants issued on May 18 unlawful and invalid. The respondents in the case have received notifications from the ATC.
