PPP may be barred from entering the cabinet: Zardari

ISLAMABAD: PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, largely seen as a key factor in Imran Khan’s demise as prime minister, has announced that his party will not take ministries.

In a brief press conference at Parliament House on Saturday, Asif Zardari remarked that they want their friends to be accommodated first.

When asked if he wanted to pin all of the responsibility on Shehbaz Sharif, he said no. “We’d want to give our pals a chance.”

Simultaneously, the PPP has invited National Assembly and provincial assembly candidates to contest in the upcoming general election.
