Abdul Aleem Khan, a former provincial minister, said on Monday that if Prime Minister Imran Khan accepts his challenge for a one-on-one debate, he will unveil all the secrets of Naya Pakistan and demand Imran Khan to show who has given even half of himself to the PTI.
He told a press conference that he’d been working with the Prime Minister since 2011 and that he’d been trying to keep the country out of any kind of trouble since then. “In 2011, Imran Khan and PTI leader Mahmood-ur-Rasheed came to my house and told me that I needed to host a public demonstration,” he said, adding that he paid for it himself.
Aleem Khan stated that an estranged PTI leader, Jahangir Khan Tareen, had also supported the party with his resources. “I was a member of the Punjab assembly from 2007 until 2018,” he stated, querying why Imran Khan sent him to the NAB when he wanted Usman Buzdar to be appointed Punjab chief minister.
The disgruntled PTI leader went on to say that he backed the prime minister for Naya Pakistan, that he did no favours for anyone, and that he contributed to the construction of the New Pakistan.
