LAHORE ( POLITICO.PK) Iqrar ul Hassan, a well-known presenter, declared the creation of a new political party on Thursday.

Iqrar ul Hassan announced the name of his party as “Pakistan Awam Raj Tehreek” during a news conference at the Lahore news Club.

Iqrar ul Hassan declared that he will never run for politics or take up a role in the administration.

He declared, “I call Allah and the Prophet (PBUH) as my witnesses that I will not take any party or government post.”

He expressed optimism that the new party will usher in a new era of political transformation in Pakistan, depart from established political customs, and become a source of inspiration for the populace.

He went on to say that he would not look to his own party or any other political party for personal gain.

Additionally, Iqrar ul Hassan declared that his party will soon start operating nationwide.

In contrast to previous political parties, the anchor-turned-politician stated that Pakistan Awam Raj Tehreek is a democratic platform owned by the people of Pakistan and that its leadership is not inherited.
