Asif Ali Zardari is a controversial president, according to Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Barrister Gohar responded to President Zardari’s speech to the joint session of parliament by stating that Zardari was unable to demonstrate Pakistan’s democracy in his speech today. According to him, his party will keep protesting in the same manner as it did today. He said that decisions were always taken outside of parliament and that parliament was never given any weight. He claimed that his party has often brought attention to the fact that parliament is incomplete.
Zardari claims to be the president of Pakistan, but the PTI rejects this “installed government,” according to PTI central leader Omar Ayub Khan.
Omar Ayub responded to President Zardari’s speech to the joint session of parliament by saying that Zardari’s remarks were lacking in substance. He said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Zardari’s party, has shattered all corruption records in Sindh, where they now hold sway.
According to him, Zardari and his son, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, would now sell Sindh’s portion of the water. He said that Zardari supported the administration, which was established as a consequence of vote tampering, when the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) was passed.
