RAWALPINDI (Reuters) – Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, the leader of the Awami Muslim League and a former interior minister, claimed on Sunday that the new budget was designed to cause issues for the future administration.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on the social networking site Twitter that Shehbaz Sharif accepted his failure but established the groundwork for the future administration. Shehbaz met with the head of the IMF for an hour and received no response.

He said that Saudi and UAE assistance was remained in uncertainty. He stated that numerous groups sought to get access to power. “PDM is disintegrating. “The PML-N and PPP are going to fight soon, and their real assets are Dawn Leaks, Memogate, and the Panama Papers,” stated the AML chief.
According to the former minister, individuals who changed their appearances and parties did it in haste.

“If someone rigged the election, the people’s reaction would be very aggressive,” he said. “How will the government manage the 14 trillion dollar budget while meeting the 7 trillion dollar deficit?” How would the government produce this large cash if the industries are not operating? he wondered.

He said that the government had levied a Rs2,000 levy on the poor’s fan. Mr Rashid said that 100 million individuals have fallen below the poverty level. “If transparent elections are held, investor confidence will be restored, and exports will increase,” he continued.
