LAHORE – Punjab’s constitutional situation has worsened as a result of Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi’s de-notification by Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman late on Thursday night.
The announcement said that it was thought that the majority of assembly members did not have trust in the chief minister.
The announcement also mentioned the dissolution of the Punjab cabinet.
Pervaiz Elahi will remain in charge up to the election of a new leader of the House, according to the announcement.
