Jamshed Iqbal Cheema of the PTI has been arrested

Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, the head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has been detained by police (PTI).

PTI leaders have been detained by police in an attempt to stop the party from conducting a massive march in Islamabad.

Earlier in the day, PTI workers and police battled as the latter attempted to detain former minister Hammad Azhar.
