LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly will not pick the province’s new chief minister today, as voting for a new CM is expected to take place on April 3. (Sunday).

According to Punjab Legislature Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti, the assembly will meet today and candidates will submit their nomination papers during the session.

Punjab lawmakers will not pick the province’s new chief minister today, and an election timetable will be released instead, said Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti on Saturday.
