ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) — Prime Minister Imran Khan has made an impassioned plea to the whole country to attend his gathering on Sunday in Islamabad to convey a message that they reject horse trafficking.
In a video message published on Thursday, he declared that for the previous thirty years, a specific clique has been looting and plundering our nation, and that they are now openly using the stolen money to purchase the conscience of public leaders. He went on to say that this is a horrific crime against democracy and the nation.
According to the Prime Minister, God Almighty also commands in the Holy Quran to support the virtuous and despise the evil. He stated that the country should make it known to those purchasing legislators’ consciences that they are opposed to this behaviour so that no one may harm democracy by horse dealing.
