LAHORE (Politico.pk) – Salman Akram Raja, Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has asked the government to summon a joint session of Parliament in light of the country’s escalating terrorism events.

He shared his opinions while appearing on Dunya News’ show ‘Baat Niklay Gi’.

The PTI leader stated that the government called the session of the National Security Committee in a haste, and the party did not have enough time to discuss with the leadership.

“Our decision to boycott the NSC meeting was completely justified,” the PTI leader stated.

He also stated that the grand opposition alliance would be established against the current government shortly.

According to Raja, the PTI founder is highly aware of the country’s present circumstances while in jail.

He praised JUI-F member Maulana Fazlur Rehman for his help in deleting problematic sections from the 26th Amendment.

He asserted that Dera Ismail Khan’s politics will not be dominant in national politics.

Raja insisted on calling an APC and inviting all political parties.
