ISLAMABAD – A-News stated that President Dr. Arif Alvi called the National Assembly and Senate to separate sessions today (Wednesday).

According to a statement released by the White House on Tuesday, the National Assembly session will begin at 3:30 p.m. and the Senate will assemble at 4:30 p.m.

Invoking his authority under Article 54 (1) of the Constitution, the president convened both houses of Congress.
