ISLAMABAD (Politico.pk) – PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat paid a visit to Barrister Gohar on Saturday to settle their differences following a show cause notice issued by his party for making a statement against him.
The PTI leaders hugged each other at a party headquarters and promised to improve their friendship.
PTI chief organiser Umer Ayub issued a show cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat, requesting an unequivocal apology for making a contentious comment against Barrister Gohar.
A video of the two leaders laughing and hugging has gone popular on social media. Their relationship soured following the Marwat’s statement against Gohar.
Marwat stated that Barrister Gohar Khan was “removed” as PTI chairman due to “unsatisfactory” performance.
His statements came the day after Gohar named Barrister Ali Zafar as the PTI’s next chairman nominee. The party’s internal elections are slated on March 3.
