LAHORE (Politico.pk) On Saturday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) abruptly changed their nominee for Punjab Chief Minister.
The SIC [which comprises PTI-backed MPAs] has now chosen Rana Aftab Ahmad Khan as the chief minister candidate over Mian Aslam Iqbal.
In light of the current political circumstances, the party leadership, in collaboration with Mian Aslam Iqbal, has chosen Rana Aftab Ahmad Khan to be Punjab chief minister.
Rana Aftab Ahmad is a five-time elected MPA and the most senior member of the SIC, with the backing of PTI candidates.
