LAHORE – Sunday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice president President Maryam Nawaz was attempting to influence the court’s decision about the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reforms.
Mr. Chaudhry took aim at Ms. Nawaz on Twitter, writing, “She is scared that the court will overturn the NAB changes, which would defeat the purpose of the regime transition and reopen all the cases.”
Mr. Chaudhry remarked in another tweet that the price of tea (per kilogramme) had increased from Rs1100 to Rs1500 in only 15 days.
Before Ramadan, he worried that a new wave of inflation would put the populace in even more peril.
Mr. Chaudhry instructed the federal ministers, stating, “It is unfathomable that the ministers are doing nothing to pull the nation out of its catastrophic economic crisis.”
