Former Pakistan bowler Aqib Javed has urged Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja to resign gracefully before the new government deposes him.

Najam Sethi and Zaka Ashraf are both strong candidates to succeed Aaqib Javed.

Ramiz Raja has indicated that he would not resign and that the Prime Minister has the ability to keep or fire him.

According to Aqib Javed, being a player is not essential to run the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), but administrative expertise is.
